Any recommendations for keeping bugs at bay for babies?

I have a seven month old baby and we often go outdoors during summer. Obviously I do not want her getting eaten alive by mosquitoes and bugs though. Unfortunately, this is a question I forgot to ask her Pediatrician and she doesn't go back until the end of July. So, does anyone know or have suggestions on how to repel them? Thank you in advance.
